Here at TCCS, we work hard to provide a fun, loving, and safe environment for every child that comes through our doors. This is no exception during the summer. Though we have a much more relaxed schedule during our summer months, we still implement a structured routine for the children that is filled with plenty of activities, games, and trips for the kids- providing them with several hands-on activities.
Summer Daycare Letter and Information
Our toddler through pre-k ages have a full daily schedule that includes themed activities (including crafts, fine motor, gross motor, and imaginative play), calendar and Bible review, singing and dancing, plenty of time set aside for outside play and water play, and also time to rest.
In years past, our summer program has allowed for our K-4th ages to take weekly trips to the nearby aquatic centers, several local parks (for lunch picnics, hikes, and playtime), the local YMCA, the Macon Public Library (where kids were able to check out books to be kept at school), and even out to the Macon County Fair. Though we aren't sure we will be able to do all of these trips this year, due to Covid-19, our staff has been working hard to plan fun science and math activities, crafts, and gross motor games to keep the children entertained and engaged, while in our care. Our hopes are to implement some of those past experiences, as soon as current circumstances allow for it.
We would love for your child to join us this summer, even if it’s just for a portion of it. Summer Daycare begins June 1 and runs through August 22. Our hours are 6:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday. Give us a call with any questions at 660.385.7188, we’d love to hear from you!
